Job summary

Cynet Health in Grand Forks, ND is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to work in the NICU on a 13‑week contract. This role involves performing patient assessments, delivering diagnostic and therapeutic treatments, and providing family education in a high‑acuity neonatal setting.

The successful candidate will hold a state‑licensed Respiratory Therapist credential and current BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications prior to start.

Qualifications

Description:The NICU Respiratory Therapist performs and documents evaluations and patient assessments.This position provides diagnostic and therapeutic treatment and appropriate education.The therapist identifies significant changes in the patient’s condition and documents appropriately.Provides diagnostic and therapeutic treatment.Assists physicians as needed.Provides appropriate patient education, family teaching, and support correlating to patient and family needs.Documents all care and actions appropriately.Identifies significant changes in patient condition and takes appropriate action.Communicates pertinent information to appropriate caregivers.Performs pain assessments and takes appropriate action according to standard operating procedures.Completes all documentation, including order entry, verification, electronic medical records, medication charting, and incident reports.Processes patient charges and runs necessary reports.Disassembles, cleans, assembles respiratory equipment, and performs preventative maintenance.Tags equipment needing preventative maintenance, safety checks, or repairs and notifies the appropriate department.Responsible for the transport of patients as necessary.Provides high-quality critical care according to established patient care guidelines.Performs other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the department or organization.
