Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week NICU travel assignment in Florida. The role is night shift, with 12-hour shifts, requiring at least 1 year of experience and NICU familiarity. ACLS and BLS are preferred certifications.

Unit features a Level II NICU with plans to advance, travel staff, and rotation on weekends/holidays as per policy. EMR Medicare-based Meditech system is used for charting.

Description:This position requires NICU experience.The unit has 411 beds and 28 staff members.The type of staff includes a charge nurse, RNs, and CNAs, with 5 staff on night shifts.Patient ratios are not applicable.Equipment used includes PB 840/980, V60, Airvo 2, PocketPEP, MCG Bedside Spirometry, and RapidPoint 500e blood gas analyzers.The EMR system utilized is Meditech.The most recruited skill set includes travel RNs, local CNAs, and sitters.Candidates without the required skills will not be considered for this role.Preferred or nice-to-have skills will be prioritized during selection.Typical procedures performed on the unit include ED coverage, ICU coverage, and floor therapy.The ideal candidate should be outgoing and reliable.The facility is currently a level 2 NICU, with plans to become a level 3 NICU later this year.This is a very competitive market, so any additional appealing information can help attract talent.The traveler will be scheduled in accordance with facility policy and is expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.
