Job summary

Paschal Air, Plumbing & Electric is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team. We diagnose, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems, explaining service and maintenance needs to customers and recommending additional services to improve performance.

We value safety, documentation, and a team-first culture. Eligible applicants hold an EPA license and HVAC certification, with a clean driving record and strong diagnostic skills.

Qualifications

• Experience running residential HVAC service calls or completion of an HVAC certification program.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• EPA license required.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities.
• Ability to explain technical information clearly to customers.
• Basic computer skills for timekeeping, billing, and payments.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems in residential homes.
• Communicate clearly with customers about service and maintenance needs.
• Recommend additional services to optimize system performance.
• Perform maintenance tasks (refrigerant checks, filter changes, etc.).
• Install thermostats, dehumidifiers, and related components.
• Replace system parts such as coils, compressors, and controls.
• Maintain accurate documentation for each work order.
• Follow all safety standards and procedures.
