Description:2 years of experience in a hospital setting is required.The unit has a total of 44 beds with a patient ratio of 4:1.Staffing includes 10 OT/PT teams and 3 speech therapists, along with 1 technician.Types of equipment utilized include Sara Lifts, Ceiling Lifts, Bioness, and Diego.The documentation system in use is Meditech Expanse.Scheduling is Monday through Friday with 8-hour shifts between 7 AM and 5 PM, with weekends rotating.There is a floating policy where staff may float to acute care if the rehab census is low.To enhance patient experience, AIDET communication and immediate service recovery are utilized.The unit performs manual therapy for neuro re-education, therapeutic exercises, functional activities, neuromuscular re-education, self-care, and functional electrical stimulation.The required uniform includes black scrub bottoms and a royal blue top.No specific certifications are required for this position.Additional information about the unit may include features such as new equipment or technology, staff tenure and experience, and flexible scheduling options.
