Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for contract work in Alabama. The role requires a current Alabama OT license, 1+ year of experience (2+ preferred), and BLS/Red Cross certification. Responsibilities include patient evaluations, care planning, therapy interventions, and comprehensive documentation in inpatient and acute settings.

Schedule is 8-hour days, Monday–Friday, with one weekend per month and holidays as required. Onsite position with potential to float across units.

Qualifications

Description:

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM.

One weekend required per month.Holidays as required.Inpatient and Acute units.Must be willing to float to various units.Responsible to complete all aspects of care for assigned patient load, including evaluations, formulating plans of care, and collaboration of care plans with patients, families, and other disciplines.Performing therapeutic interventions, education, and meeting all documentation requirements outlined by the department.Working with geriatric, neurological, stroke, and amputation patients.Physical activities may include talking, hearing, bending, twisting, walking, running, kneeling, crouching, stooping, crawling, climbing, balancing, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, and repetitive motions.Must be able to perform the duties with or without reasonable accommodation.Physical presence onsite is essential.
