Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our Therapy Services team in Georgia-Lithonia. This full-time role directs day-to-day rehab operations and coordinates rehab disciplines to deliver quality patient care in a post-acute setting.

You will lead the rehab team, collaborate with physicians and staff, and participate in ongoing training, merit-based growth, and support programs that promote safety and well-being for residents and employees.

Qualifications

• Valid state professional license
• Graduate of an accredited OT program; foreign-trained must meet US requirements

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage the day-to-day clinical operations of the rehab department
• Provide clinical leadership within the rehab team
• Coordinate all rehab disciplines (Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech-Language Pathology)
• Provide quality patient care
• Maintain effective communications with Facility/Center staff, patients, families, and management
• Monitor, enhance and expand the rehabilitation programs within the Health Care Center
