Job summary

Therapy Associates is seeking a Speech Pathologist to treat clients with speech or language disorders and develop individualized treatment programs. You will maintain records and inform agency and parents about student progress.

This role emphasizes collaboration with families and service coordinators to ensure care quality. Responsibilities include delivering services per treatment plans, reporting progress to parents, updating families with at-home activities, and continuously updating

Qualifications

• NJ Speech and Language Pathology license is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides services to clients according to treatment plan, evaluates, and maintains records of clients' progress.
• Reports progress to parents. Suggests activities parents can do with their child to assist and supplement the student's speech therapy program. Addresses questions and concerns they may have about it.
• Repeats evaluations on a regular basis to measure progress according to professional guidelines.
• Meets with team to review and discuss evaluation of clients' skills as demonstrated in sessions.
• Keeps current with professional literature and attends seminars on a regular basis to maintain and update professional skills.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Provides services to clients according to treatment plan, evaluates, and maintains records of clients' progress.
• Reports progress to parents. Suggests activities parents can do with their child to assist and supplement the student's speech therapy program. Attempts to add to their understanding of the program and answers questions and addresses concerns they may have about it.
• Repeats evaluations on a regular basis to measure progress according to professional guidelines.
• Meets with team to review and discuss evaluation of clients' skills as demonstrated in sessions.
• Keeps current with professional literature and attends seminars on a regular basis to maintain and update professional skills.
