Job summary

Steele Memorial Medical Center is seeking a Therapy Aide to support therapists and rehabilitation staff in a rural Idaho clinic. You will assist with patient management, prep treatment areas, and help coordinate activities for swing bed patients.

The role includes clerical tasks, communicating with patients and families, and helping with community wellness activities under therapist direction. A strong team approach and compassionate bedside manner are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Associates degree, CNA certificate, or fitness certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists under supervision with patient management and non-skilled activities.
• Maintain neat gym and treatment areas; disinfect and prepare equipment.
• Handle basic office duties: phones, scheduling, intake paperwork, and insurance authorizations.
