Job summary

AltaPointe Health Systems is seeking a program leader to direct and organize activities within our mental health programs in Talladega, AL. The role oversees planning, implementation, and evaluation of program goals to align with the organization's strategic plan.

The candidate will monitor contracts, manage staff workloads, and collaborate with internal teams and external partners while adhering to professional ethics and client confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a mental health discipline.
• Two years post-master's experience or more preferred.
• Must be 23 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver's license with liability insurance.

• Directs and organizes program activities.
• Writes program narratives, contracts, procedures and grants in a timely manner.
• Establishes program goals and objectives that support the organization's strategic plan.
• Assures that program standards and objectives are met.
• Leads program planning, development and implementation.
• Identifies problems, evaluates alternatives and implements effective solutions.
• Monitors division contracts and budget.
• Monitors case loads and productivity of staff.
• Ensures that staff provides coverage for crisis intervention.
• Effectively collaborates with other AltaPointe program coordinators and outside sources.
• Adheres to professional code of ethics.
• Actively works to enhance clinical and leadership skills.
• Promotes the concept of treatment teams; acts as a member of the treatment team.
• Provides staff with consultation and supervision as needed.
• Ensures competence of staff.
• Seeks clinical supervision and consultation as needed.
• Respects consumer's privacy and confidentiality.

• Objectively completes performance evaluations on supervised staff and routes to Personnel Department on a timely basis.
• Promotes the concept of treatment teams. Acts as a memeber of the treatment team.
