Job summary

River Oaks Hospital, an affiliate of Universal Health Services (UHS) in metropolitan New Orleans, seeks a dynamic Social Worker/Therapist - PRN. Under supervision, the therapist provides individual, family, and group therapy to meet caseload requirements.

Develops admission assessments, treatment plans, and discharge summaries within established time frames and formats. They liaise with families, outside agencies and referral sources and oversee the design, structure, and implementation of

Qualifications

• Two years post-graduate work experience in mental health or related field preferred.
• Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a mental health field required.
• Current licensure (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) in Louisiana or licensure pursued under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy to meet caseload requirements.
• Develop admission assessments, treatment plans, and discharge summaries within established time frames.
