Palms Behavioral Health in Harlingen, TX seeks a Therapist I to provide direct clinical services, including psychosocial assessments, individual, group and family therapy, and discharge planning.
The role requires developing treatment plans, coordinating services, maintaining timely progress notes, and serving as a liaison to referral sources. A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling or Psychology and at least one year of therapy experience are required.
The Therapist I is a part of the multidisciplinary team responsible for providing direct clinical services to patients and their families with most emphasis on completing Psychosocial Assessments; providing individual, group and family therapy for patients; facilitating psycho-educational training, family meetings, discharge planning; assisting in program development; developing, implementing, and reviewing Treatment Plans; and providing linkage to outside resources.
Location: Harlingen, Texas.
