Job summary

Houston Healthcare in Georgia is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to treat assigned patients, assess needs, and document care in compliance with policy. The role requires a PT degree, GA licensure, BLS certification, and completion of ortho and stroke education per center policies.

Expect day shift, 40 hours weekly, on-site with on-call duties. You will utilize ultrasound, electrical stimulation, whirlpool, iontophoresis, and other rehab equipment to restore function and mobility while

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university.
• Three internships/affiliations completed with twelve weeks of clinical experience at a university-approved hospital.
• Current PT licensure by the Georgia State Board of Physical Therapy.
• Current AHA/ARC BLS certification.
• Must obtain and maintain required ortho education/training as mandated in Houston Healthcare Joint Destination Center of Excellence Policy.
• Must obtain and maintain required stroke education/training as mandated in Houston Healthcare Primary Stroke Center/Acute Stroke Ready Designation Policy.

• Document care according to policy and maintain accurate records.

Work Shift:Day - 8 Hour (United States of America)Responsible for treating assigned patients including obtaining accurate prescription, reviewing charts adequately, evaluating patients and documenting according to policy.Qualifications:Education & Training: Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university.Experience: Three (3) internships/affiliations satisfactorily completed. Twelve (12) weeks of clinical experience at a university-approved hospital.Required Certification/Registration/Licensure: Current PT licensure by the Georgia State Board of Physical Therapy.
