Responsibilities

We are looking for a Therapist - Outpatient to join our growing outpatient team. Shift hours are 8:00 am - 5:00 pm or 12:30 pm - 8:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The position provides Masters Level Group Therapy in an intensive outpatient setting utilizing best practice modalities.

Palo Verde Behavioral Health Hospital provides comprehensive behavioral healthcare for children, adolescents, adults, and seniors with mental health and substance use disorders. We offer partial and intensive outpatient hospitalization and specialized chemical dependency treatment. PVBH has a reputation for innovative care and a dedicated staff. Situated in Tucson, AZ, at the base of the Catalina Foothills, it is minutes to Saguaro National Park and the University of Arizona.

Qualifications

Education: Master’s degree in social, behavioral or mental health services field from an accredited college or university.

Credentials: Licensure by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Examiners as an LMSW (preferred).

Experience: Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in an outpatient environment, preferably in mental health.
