Job summary

Arch Vista, a comprehensive mental health and addiction treatment facility in St. Louis, MO, is seeking a Therapist (Outpatient) to join our team.

The role offers regular weekday hours, patient-centered psychotherapy, and opportunities to work with adults across our outpatient program. You will provide psychotherapy, document care accurately, and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team while upholding HIPAA and clinical standards.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with state licensure (LPC, LPCC, LSW, LMSW / PLPC).
• 1+ year inpatient or acute behavioral health experience preferred.
• Strong group therapy and crisis intervention skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychotherapy and counseling therapies on an outpatient basis.
• Ensure accurate and timely patient documentation for the outpatient services.
• Provide direct social work services to patients and their families as part of the multidisciplinary team with emphasis on psychosocial assessments, psycho-educational training, family meetings, and Treatment Plans.
• Accept direction from the Program Director.
• May run a group on the inpatient unit if needed.
• Maintain confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and clinical standards.

Pay: $55K - $70K per year

The Role Itself

• Provide psychotherapy and counseling therapies on an outpatient basis, including group, individual, and family therapy for patients suffering from psychiatric conditions.
• Ensure accurate and timely patient documentation for the outpatient services.
• Provide direct social work services to patients and their families as a part of the multidisciplinary team with most emphases on completing Psychosocial Assessments, facilitating psycho-educational training, family meetings, assisting in program development, and developing, implementing, and reviewing Treatment Plans.
• Accept direction from the Program Director.
• May be asked to run a group on the inpatient unit, if needed
• Maintains knowledge of confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and clinical standards.
