Job summary

Universal Hospital Services Inc. is seeking a Master level Therapist for full-time and PRN roles in Florida. The incumbent will conduct therapeutic services for patients and provide counseling to families, individuals and groups.

Responsibilities include interviewing and developing psychosocial histories, assessing needs, and setting treatment objectives with monthly summaries. The role also serves as the primary contact and advocate for patients and families during hospitalization.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, counseling, or other related fields.
• One year direct clinical experience in family, individual and group therapy preferred.
• Must be able to communicate with multidisciplinary treatment team, managed care representatives, adults and patient families clearly.

Responsibilities

We are currently looking for a Master level Therapist to join our team. We have Full time and PRN positions available. The candidate selected will be responsible for the following: Responsible for conducting therapeutic services for patients. Provide counseling sessions for families, individuals and groups. Responsible for interviewing and developing the psychosocial history, assessing the therapeutic needs of the individual and family, developing appropriate treatment objectives and monthly treatment summaries. Act as the patients’ and families’ primary contact during the patient’s stay at the facility, as well as their advocate with the treatment team. Liaisons with outside agencies and individuals for the purpose of developing and coordinating discharge planning with the treatment team and family.
