POSITION SUMMARY

  • Responsible for developing and writing treatment plans and discharge summaries within established time frames and formats.
  • Act as a liaison with other disciplines, colleagues, physicians, families, and outside agencies.
  • Responsible for assessing, designing, structuring, and implementing therapeutic services that best meet the needs of patients and their families.
  • Work collaboratively as a treatment team member.

Will work under the direct supervision of the Clinical Services Director.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Behavioral Health field.
  • Must be licensed to practice psychotherapy in the State of Texas (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) or under supervision for licensure (LMSW, LPC‑I, or LMFT‑A).
  • At least 6 months of experience providing individual, group, and family therapy, case management, and discharge planning in an inpatient or outpatient psychiatric facility.
  • Familiarity with ethical and legal issues regarding reporting of abuse and neglect.
  • Prior inpatient adult psychiatric experience preferred.
