Job summary

Pinnacle Pointe Behavioral Health, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a Therapist to provide therapeutic, clinical, and social services to children and teens in a behavioral health setting.

The position requires a Master's degree in a relevant field and at least two years' experience in a psychiatric health care facility with direct experience in individual, family, and group therapies. Crisis intervention skills are desirable, with opportunities for career advancement within UHS.

• Crisis intervention experience is desirable.

Position Summary: The Therapist provides therapeutic, clinical, and social services to clients. The Therapist provides access to therapeutic treatment and education to improve skills while helping clients achieve their optimal level of emotional health. Services include providing basic consultation, individual therapy, clinical services for patients/families, teaching, crisis intervention, short-term and long-term family therapy, and providing information and referrals as needed.

Job Requirements

Education: Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related mental health field.

Experience: Minimum of two (2) years experience in a psychiatric health care facility with direct experience in individual, family and group therapies. Experience in crisis intervention is desired. Must have strong clinical assessment skills.
