Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Program Therapist to deliver psychosocial assessments, individual and group therapy, and discharge planning at a 64-bed psychiatric facility. You will collaborate with a treatment team, document progress, and drive quality of care.

Qualified candidates hold a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling or Social Work, possess an active state license (PLMHP/LMHP/LIMHP/PCMSW/CMSW/CSW), and maintain BLS certification. A dynamic, patient-centered environment awaits.

Qualifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct therapy sessions with patients (individual, group, and significant other) to achieve treatment goals.
• Review cases to assure quality of care and improve customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with consulting physician and treatment team in treatment and discharge planning.
• Complete assessments, progress notes, group notes and treatment plan updates.

As our Program Therapist, you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery. Every day, you will be providing psychosocial and diagnostic assessment, conducting psychotherapeutic sessions with patients, reviewing cases in peer supervision, collaborating with consulting physician and treatment team in the formation of treatment plans and discharge plans.

• Conduct therapy sessions with patient by doing individual, group and significant other counseling and education to assist these individuals in achieving defined treatment goals
• Reviews cases to assure quality of care and constantly seeks ways to improve internal and external customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with consulting physician and treatment team in the formation of comprehensive treatment plans and discharge plans
• Completes assessments, progress notes, group notes and treatment plan updates in accordance with charting policy and procedures

We are offering a $4,800 sign on bonus and $10,000 Educational Assistance (loan forgiveness) to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements
