Eagle View Behavioral Health is seeking a Therapist I for weekend shifts to join our multidisciplinary team in Bettendorf, IA. You will perform psychosocial assessments, deliver individual, group, and family therapy, and support discharge planning and care coordination.

You will implement treatment plans, participate in team conferences, maintain documentation, and provide crisis intervention as needed. A Master’s degree and post-graduate experience across age groups are required.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling or Psychology required.
• Requires at least one year of experience as a therapist with all age groups.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop an initial discharge plan.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on assessment and coordinate services.
• Conduct individual, group or family sessions as appropriate for the treatment plan.
• Apply psychotherapeutic techniques and interventions for emotional/behavioral disorders.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary treatment planning conferences.
• Maintain caseload and document progress notes and updates in the medical record.
• Provide crisis intervention to patients and families in acute distress.
• Coordinate post-hospitalization care and community resource linkage.

Therapist I - PT Weekend | Eagle View Behavioral Health | Bettendorf, IowaAbout the Job:The Therapist I is a part of the multidisciplinary team responsible for providing direct clinical services to patients and their families with most emphasis on completing Psychosocial Assessments; providing individual, group and family therapy for patients; facilitating psycho-educational training, family meetings, discharge planning; assisting in program development; developing, implementing, and reviewing Treatment Plans; and providing linkage to outside resources.Roles and Responsibilities:REQUIREMENTS:· Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling or Psychology required.· Requires at least one year of experience as a therapist with all age groups.JOB FUNCTIONS:· Conducts a psychosocial assessment and develops an initial discharge plan.· Develops and implements treatment plans for patient based on assessment and coordinates any additional services needed, revising as necessary.· Conducts individual, group or family sessions as appropriate for the treatment plan of the patient.· Applies psychotherapeutic techniques and interventions in the delivery of services to individuals and families for the purpose of treating such diagnosed emotional and behavioral disorders.· Participates in multi-disciplinary treatment planning conferences. Presents appropriate patient information to the treatment team. Recommends effective treatment interventions.· Maintains a caseload as assigned.· Develops and implements special patient groups or program modules.· Timely prepares progress notes and treatment updates in the medical record. Maintains all clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and accrediting standards.· Ensures each assigned patient has a structured and clinically appropriate post hospitalization care plan.
