Job Summary :
Provides in-home, office and telehealth outpatient mental health assessments, counseling services, and provider education and consultation in the CREATE program (Co-designing Rich Environments for All to Thrive Everyday) : The target population includes children and their parents/guardians/caregivers (families) who are referred for emotional, behavioral and developmental concerns and may have complex medical needs and youth transitioning from pediatric to adult care (HCT), and LGBTQ+ children and youth. They must reside in Duval County. Therapists will provide services to stabilize their family, parent-child relationships, mental health or prevent entry into formal systems of care.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:Master’s degree in Social Work or Mental Health from an accredited college or university. Eligible to become a registered intern with the State of Florida
Experience:One year of counseling experience is preferred.
Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration: Licensed Applicants are preferred. Meet training requirements stipulated by the State of Florida to become a registered intern who is working toward licensure.
