Job summary

The Children’s Guild is hiring a Therapist/Clinician for our Outpatient Mental Health Center (OMHC) in Baltimore, MD. You’ll provide individual, family, and group therapy to children and adolescents, perform biopsychosocial assessments, and create personalized treatment plans under clinical supervision.

You’ll deliver CBT, TF-CBT, play therapy and other evidence‑based approaches while maintaining compliant documentation. Join a multidisciplinary team and contribute to families’ well‑being.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field required.
• Graduate licensure in Maryland or D.C. (LMSW, LGPC, or equivalent); applicants awaiting licensure encouraged to apply.
• Genuine passion for working with children, adolescents, and families.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply; trauma-informed care knowledge and evidence-based modalities appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy to children and adolescents.
• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions (e.g., CBT, TF-CBT, play therapy) under supervision.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with COMAR, HIPAA, and standards.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, case managers, and school staff as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Engage families as active partners in therapy; participate in supervision and professional development.
