Therapist (Inpatient) Opportunity

Coastal Harbor Health System is comprised of a 145‑bed hospital for children and adolescents, providing both short‑ and long‑term inpatient care, and a 50‑bed inpatient hospital serving men and women, ages 18 and up. We offer compassionate patient care to those who need it the most, serving not only local patients, but also those located across the country.

Our hospitals are conveniently located in beautiful, historic Savannah, GA in a quiet setting that provides unparalleled anonymity and privacy, enabling patients to concentrate on treatment.

Responsibilities

The Therapist assesses and counsels patients regarding psychological or emotional problems and develops and implements a therapeutic treatment plan. The Therapist collaborates with all members of the treatment team and provides clinical supervision, guidance and developmental support for program staff, and clinical structure and guidance for the treatment team. The Therapist provides group, family and individual sessions for acute care patients as indicated.

• Ensure completion of all initial assessments for assigned patient group. Completes psychosocial history on all assigned patients. This may include notification of other disciplines when there are noticeable omissions in the record and contacting patient's support system to obtain additional information.
• Assures that the master treatment plan is developed within 72 hours of admission of the assigned patient population.
• Ensures that all assigned patients have an individualized crisis plan developed.
• Provides clinical oversight to assure that treatment plan interventions are followed.
• Maintains collaboration with Admission Department to provide clinical support for initial screenings. Provides appropriate back up for assessments when there is need.
• Ensures that group therapy, individual therapy and family therapy coverage is provided in accordance with schedule and needs of assigned patients.

• Computer proficient with previous heavy data entry experience
