Job summary

Compass Health Network is seeking a Behavioral Health Therapist in Jefferson City to provide individual, family, and group therapy for clients up to age 17. This full-time, on-site role in a collaborative, integrated care setting offers weekday schedules, strong clinical supervision, and opportunities for professional growth.

The position emphasizes culturally competent, person-centered care with a focus on stability, work-life balance, and ongoing development within a supportive team atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Must hold a master’s degree in counseling, social work, or psychology.
• Licensed or license-eligible in Missouri (PLPC/LPC/LMSW/LCSW/LMFT/PMFT) per state requirements.
• Experience or comfort working with clients aged 17 and under preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy to clients based on clinical need and licensure.
• Assess readiness for services, develop treatment plans, and document progress per agency guidelines.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and collaborate on integrated care.
• Utilize DSM-5 criteria for diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Refer clients to internal and external resources as needed.
• Engage in ongoing clinical training and supervision opportunities.
• Maintain compliance with all agency, state, and federal documentation standards.
• Work Monday through Friday with no weekends or holidays.
