Job summary

YOSO Recruiting is seeking a compassionate Licensed Therapist to join our inpatient substance abuse treatment team in Virginia. The ideal candidate will hold an active Virginia LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or LSATP license and provide individual, group, and family therapy in a primary inpatient program.

You will complete psychosocial assessments, develop treatment plans, facilitate groups, and coordinate with physicians and nursing staff to support recovery.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia licensure as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or LSATP.
• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, MFT, or related field.
• Inpatient behavioral health or substance abuse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge planning per standards.
• Facilitate evidence-based groups focused on recovery and relapse prevention.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, case managers, and the treatment team to ensure quality care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Participate in treatment team meetings and contribute to care planning.

About the Role

Provide individual, group, and family therapy to clients in a primary substance abuse inpatient program.

Responsibilities

• Complete psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge planning in accordance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Facilitate evidence-based therapeutic groups focused on addiction recovery and relapse prevention.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, case managers, and the multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Participate in treatment team meetings and contribute to client care planning.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia licensure as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or LSATP required.
• Master\'s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field.
• Experience in an inpatient behavioral health or substance abuse treatment setting is preferred.
