Job summary

The Remedy Mental Health in Rapid City, SD, seeks a licensed or licensure-pursuing therapist to diagnose and treat mental health disorders, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide counseling with regular progress assessments. Compensation is productivity-based.

You will maintain patient records, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and apply therapies such as EMDR, DBT, and CBT in in-person and hybrid settings.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in behavioral sciences or related field from an accredited college or university.
• Candidates should ideally have clinical licensure or be working toward licensure (LMFT, LPCC, LICSW, LP).
• Experience with completing DAs, treatment plans and clinical progress notes.
• Fully Licensed Clinicians will ideally be credentialed with insurance panels.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate patient records and reports.
• Evaluate mental health diagnoses, create and maintain treatment plans and document progress.
• Provide counseling and collaborate with a dynamic team in weekly meetings.
• Utilize creative interventions to help clients achieve goals.
• Provide psychotherapy in person and remote (hybrid).
• Engage in topics like EMDR, DBT, CBT, and related therapies.

Job Summary:

Our therapists diagnose and treat mental health disorders, creates individualized treatment plans according to patient needs and circumstances, meets with patients regularly to provide counseling, treatment and adjust treatment plans as necessary, and conducts ongoing assessments of patient progress.

Compensation for this position is productivity-based.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• 
  Maintains timely and accurate patient records and reports.
• 
  Evaluate mental health diagnoses, create, implement and maintain treatment plans and complete ongoing documentation in a timely manner.
• 
  Provide excellent care for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team by participating in weekly team meetings.
• 
  Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals
• 
  Be willing to provide psychotherapy services in person and remote (hybrid)
• 
  Interest in topics such as, but not limited to: eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), prolonged exposure (PE), BIPOC population, humanistic therapy, gender identity and sexual orientation, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), group therapy, couples therapy, psychotherapy, ketamine assisted psychotherapy, treatment-resistant depression, chemical dependency

Education and Experience:

• Master's degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university
• Candidates should ideally have clinical licensure or be working toward licensure (LMFT, LPCC, LICSW, LP etc.)
• Experience with completing DAs, treatment plans and clinical progress notes
• Fully Licensed Clinicians will ideally be credentialed with insurance panels

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
