Job summary

HOPE Community Services in Oklahoma City is seeking a Therapeutic Counselor for the Community Support Program. In this role, you'll provide individual, family, and group counseling as well as crisis intervention to support clients in overcoming challenges.

The ideal candidate will have a valid LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or LADC license, or a master’s degree in a related field. Effective and compassionate care is essential in this welcoming environment aimed at improving the quality of life for our clients.

Qualifications

  • Current license (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LADC) in Oklahoma or a master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field with eligibility for licensure supervision.
  • Experience in clinical assessments, counseling, and crisis intervention.

Responsibilities

  • Provide counseling and therapeutic interventions to help clients overcome barriers.
  • Conduct clinical assessments and treatment planning.
  • Deliver trauma-informed care in a welcoming environment.

Skills

Strong clinical documentation and organizational skills

Overview

HOPE Community Services, Inc. is a leading outpatient treatment provider in south Oklahoma City. We provide compassionate trauma-informed care to individuals whose lives have been impacted by mental health and substance use disorders. We do this by providing compassionate and evidence-based treatment, aimed at improving the quality of life for those we serve.

We are currently seeking a Therapeutic Counselor for the Community Support Program. This role focuses on providing individual, family, and group counseling, assessments, crisis intervention, and linkage to community resources for adults and youth. If you are passionate about supporting individuals in overcoming challenges and reaching their goals, this position is for you.

About the Position

As a Therapeutic Counselor in the Community Support Program, you will provide counseling and therapeutic interventions to help clients overcome barriers and achieve their goals. This includes conducting clinical assessments, treatment planning, and crisis intervention, as well as assisting clients in accessing community resources and benefits. You will deliver trauma-informed and culturally competent care in a welcoming, recovery-focused environment while collaborating with team members and community partners to support clients’ needs.

Requirements
