Job summary

Responsibilities

• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and identify client needs and treatment recommendations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals in collaboration with clients and teams.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based approaches.
• Monitor client progress and adjust interventions to achieve positive outcomes.
• Provide crisis intervention, safety planning, and referrals to additional resources as needed.
• Maintain timely clinical documentation in compliance with policies and regulations.

What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and utilize evidence-based assessment tools to identify client strengths, needs, and treatment recommendations
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals and objectives in collaboration with clients, families, and multidisciplinary treatment teams
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based interventions to address concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral challenges, and other mental health conditions
• Monitor client progress, maintain ongoing communication and follow-up, and adjust treatment interventions to support positive outcomes
• Provide crisis intervention, safety planning, and referrals to additional resources and support services as needed
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation while ensuring compliance with organizational policies, payer requirements, accreditation standards, and state regulations

Alabama

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field required
• Must be eligible for licensure as an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW

Mississippi

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field required
• Must be eligible for licensure as an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW in Mississippi, or hold a Mississippi Department of Mental Health (DMH) certification

North Carolina

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field required
• Must hold an associate license as an LCSWA or LCMHCA

South Carolina

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field required
• Must hold a LMSW, LMFT-A, or LPC-A license

Tennessee

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field required
• Must be eligible for licensure as an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW

Virginia

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field required
• Must be a Resident in Counseling or Supervisee in Social Work

Additional Qualifications

• Experience conducting behavioral health assessments, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions preferred
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based treatment approaches, trauma-informed care, and crisis intervention practices
• Excellent communication, documentation, collaboration, and relationship‑building skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary treatment team while managing an active caseload
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current vehicle insurance required for community‑based service delivery, when applicable
