Clarion Psychiatric Center offers inpatient treatment for adults with moderate to severe psychiatric problems, inpatient crisis stabilization for children and adolescents, and a Partial Hospitalization Program for school-aged children. Our recently expanded 112-bed inpatient program has 4 units. Provide therapy to individuals and/or groups, serve as a member of hospital committees, perform group therapy and assessments to determine treatment needs, and collaborate as part of the treatment team.
Masters Degree in Social Service field required.
Not required.
Inpatient/outpatient psychiatric experience preferred. Experience in individual and group therapy.
Understanding of family dynamics, casework, interpersonal relationships, social policy, therapeutic relationships, growth and development, behavior management, crisis intervention, and effective communication.
Hospital setting with some risk involved due to patient behaviors. Exposure to infectious diseases and conditions. Well-lit, ventilated, and subject to interruptions.
Ability to communicate effectively, lift up to 50 lbs, stand and walk for long periods, participate in crisis prevention, and pass drug screening. Reasonable accommodations available.
