Job summary

AbbVie’s Commercial Leader Program – Therapeutics MBA Internship offers hands-on assignments that impact business and patients globally. You’ll join an integrated brand team blending marketing, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration across creative agencies, medical counterparts, and our precision medicines group.

Locations include North Chicago, IL, Irvine CA, Madison NJ, with travel up to 15%. Candidates should be enrolled in an MBA program and expect graduation Dec 2027–Jun 2028;

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an MBA program with marketing/healthcare emphasis.
• Must graduate between Dec 2027 and Jun 2028.
• At least 3 years of work experience.
• Willing to travel up to 15% in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Understand core marketing principles leading to product launches and cross-functional collaboration.
• Develop strategic and tactical plans for the portfolio to defend against competitors.
• Create regional or account-based marketing approaches to accelerate market share.
• Prepare launch materials and training for Field teams for Patient Education Programs.
• Research internal brands and external markets to propose innovative marketing strategies.
