Job summary

Riverside Community Care is seeking a Special Education Teacher for the Riverside School, a 766-approved private therapeutic day school. The role focuses on implementing IEPs, data tracking, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to support students in grades 6–12 in a low student-teacher ratio setting.

Salary ranges from bachelor-level licensure to master-level licensure, with primary on-site responsibilities and a 40-hour week (8 AM–4 PM).

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Basic computer fluency, including Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle for local travel.

Responsibilities

• Implement the academic and classroom components of each student’s IEP and track progress toward goals.
• Facilitate student learning according to sending district requirements.
• Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to provide services to students and families.
