Job summary

Elements Massage Issaquah is seeking licensed estheticians/aestheticians to join our team. The role involves performing 60-minute facial sessions, conducting thorough skin analyses, and documenting intake forms and session records.

We value a welcoming, team-oriented environment and professional client care. Applicants should have at least 2 years of esthetics experience, an active state license with renewal, and liability insurance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as esthetician.
• Active and current state esthetician license with renewal each year.
• Active liability insurance through ASCP.
• Completion of an accredited Esthetics/Aesthetics program.
• Experience with customer service in beauty or wellness.
• Experience educating clients and providing service or product recommendations.
• Awareness of contraindications and areas of caution; comfortable in a dimly lit room.
• Client-service-oriented with good communication with clients and staff.
• Thrives in a fun, team-oriented environment.
• Spa experience or facial work is a plus.
• Proven track record for repeat business and service enhancements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete a thorough skin analysis for each client to determine skin type and condition.
• Discuss skin concerns, medical history, and results; document intake and session records.
• Customize a facial service plan and provide a relaxing experience (cleansing, treating, exfoliating, moisturizing).
• Educate clients on skin health and post-care recommendations; include at-home regimens.
• Suggest return frequency and service/product enhancements for optimal outcome.
• Maintain professional boundaries, including draping and informed consent.
• Document session records electronically within required timeframe.
• Keep workspace clean and adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Conduct 60-minute sessions with 15-minute turnovers between clients.
