Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson, Inc. is seeking a Therapeutic Specialist to provide individual and group therapy for patients. Responsibilities include developing therapeutic goals, implementing treatment plans, and participating in supervision. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in education or Human Services and at least two years’ experience with children suffering from mental health disorders. Qualifications

• Minimum of two years work experience serving children with mental health disorders.
• Must pass pre‑employment background and drug screen.
• Must be fully vaccinated for COVID unless approved for exemption.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic services to patients in the partial program.
• Implement goals and interventions specified in the treatment plan.
• Develop program materials adapted to the age and developmental level.

Skills

Bachelor’s degree in education or Human Services

Experience serving children with mental health disorders

Knowledge of trauma-informed care

Ability to develop behavior management plans

Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License preferred
