Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Recreation Therapy or related field.
• CTRS or RTR certification preferred.
• Minimum one year of experience in Behavioral Healthcare, rehabilitative or SNF setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts a therapeutic recreation program within the hospital to facilitate rehabilitation of the physically and mentally disabled.
• Creates an environment that allows the patient to explore their own potential, cultivate positive morale and minimize distress of illness.
