Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Svc is seeking a Recreational Therapist to join an interdisciplinary care team. You will use current therapeutic techniques to plan and implement individualized programs, assess patient goals, and participate in ongoing rounds and treatment planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Recreational Therapy required.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• Certification as CTRS.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient care needs and develop/implement a treatment plan with an interdisciplinary team.
• Plan Milieu Programming: teaching, skill building, and therapy groups.
• Establish therapeutic relationships with assigned patients.
• Provide input to the interdisciplinary treatment plan as a team member.
• Monitor safety and report potential risks to patient safety.
• Document and report all necessary information per policies.
