• Complete activity assessment through observation and interviews to gather information for the treatment plan.
• Plan, organize, direct and implement activities to achieve treatment goals.
• Plan and implement an activities program including therapeutic leisure skills, education and awareness.
• Lead activity sessions to improve patients’ mental and physical well-being.
• Instruct patients in activities and techniques (sports, dance, music, art, relaxation) to meet needs.
• Develop treatment plans and activity interventions tailored to patient needs and interests.
• Engage patients in therapeutic activities such as exercise, games, and community outings.
• Help patients learn social skills for independence.
• Modify activities to suit diverse groups.
• Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude and address patient complaints.
