As an extension of our member districts, Western DuPage Special Recreation Association provides support staff to assist individuals who have special needs and are participating in park district programs.

Requirements
  • Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation
  • Two to three years of direct experience working with individuals with disabilities
  • At least twenty-one years of age and possess a valid Illinois Class "D" Driver's License & ability to drive agency vehicles
  • Own transportation to and from agency worksites
  • First Aid/CPR certification required or the ability to obtain
