You will collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams to design personalized experiences, complete MDS documentation, and foster a welcoming, home-like environment where residents feel valued and connected every day.

Qualifications

• Certified Therapeutic Recreation Director (TRD) credential.
• Experience in Long-Term Care and Alzheimer's/Dementia programming.
• Knowledge of MDS assessments and documentation requirements.
• Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
• A passion for creating meaningful experiences for older adults.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead therapeutic recreation and memory care programs.
• Create engaging experiences that support residents' cognitive, emotional, social, and physical well-being.
• Complete MDS assessments, documentation, and care plan participation.
• Partner with residents, families, nursing, and interdisciplinary team members to enhance quality of life.
• Bring creativity and fresh ideas that promote connection, engagement, and a sense of belonging.
