iCare Health Network is seeking a Therapeutic Recreation Assistant in Manchester, CT. You will run and implement therapeutic social and cognitive activities, trips, and events for residents, following established calendars and care plans.

Ideal candidates have experience designing and delivering programs for seniors or adults with physical or mental challenges in clinical settings, and must communicate clearly in English.

Qualifications

• Experience running, developing, planning and implementing therapeutic programs, activities and events for seniors or disabled adults in a clinical setting.
• Ability to run multiple events with diverse disciplines in a multicultural environment.
• Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing).

Responsibilities

• Run and implement daily therapeutic social and cognitive activities for residents.
• Prepare and follow activity calendars with a variety of activities.
