Job summary

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX is seeking a clinically oriented Therapeutic Medical Physicist for a full-time PhD faculty position. You will support external beam and brachytherapy treatments, participate in QA and research, and contribute to education for graduate students and trainees.

This is an onsite role with the department pursuing advanced clinical and academic projects.

Qualifications

• PhD in Medical Physics or Physics required.
• ABR certification completed or in progress.
• Residency program graduate preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support external beam and brachytherapy treatments.
• Participate in QA for EBRT machines, CT-simulators, HDR and PDR units.
• Engage in research programs and educational activities for graduates and trainees.
• Work onsite at MD Anderson in Houston.
