Job summary

A healthcare services provider is seeking a Board-Certified Therapeutic Medical Physicist to provide on-site clinical support at the Baltimore VA Medical Center. Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of continuous work experience within the last 3 years.
• Familiarity with the VA CPRS system and prior VA or federal healthcare experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the clinical physics operations of the Radiation Oncology Service.
• Perform QA procedures, calibrations, and dose verification following AAPM standards.
• Participate in treatment planning and validation for various modalities.
• Oversee IGRT, cone beam CT imaging, and treatment equipment QA.
• Conduct weekly and end-of-treatment chart reviews.
• Maintain full clinical documentation in CPRS.
