Job summary

NeuroRestorative, a Sevita company, seeks a Therapeutic Counselor to provide counseling to individuals and families, using multiple therapeutic approaches to address mental health and recovery needs. Join a multidisciplinary team committed to person-centered care and outcomes.

The role emphasizes risk assessment, treatment planning, documentation, and collaboration with staff, families, and insurers to support clients across programs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a human services field.
• Two years of relevant experience.
• LCPC / LPC licensure required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and family counseling using multiple therapeutic approaches.
• Address depression, addiction/substance abuse, stress, and self-esteem issues.
• Assist with job, vocational concerns, or parenting as needed.
• Provide assessments of mental status, personality, behavior, and relationships.
• Provide individual counseling and family psychotherapy as appropriate.
• Facilitate counseling groups and participate in treatment planning with a transdisciplinary team.
• Consult with staff, insurers, family about treatment progress and recommendations.
• Submit service summaries and billing slips; complete daily summaries.
• Attend in-house seminars and weekly discipline meetings; ensure timely reports.
• Ensure confidentiality and adherence to accreditation standards.
• Provide supervision and in-house activities for participants.
• Participate in Crisis Intervention System on-call team.
