The Department of Physics & Astronomy at the University of Utah invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics at the rank of Assistant Professor. Exceptional candidates at Associate or Full Professor level will also be considered.

Qualifications

• PhD in Physics or closely related field required.
• Applicants should present a strong research plan and teaching philosophy.
• Submit a CV, cover letter, statements of research and teaching, and at least three letters of recommendation.
• Full consideration requires a complete application by December 1, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Develop an internationally recognized research program in theoretical condensed matter physics.
