Qualifications

• Ph.D. degree completed by the appointment start date.
• Outstanding research record at the level of the position.
• Ability to identify and pursue research problems independently in a collaborative setting.

Responsibilities

• Engage in theoretical and/or numerical astrophysics research.
• Collaborate with Harvard College Observatory and Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory researchers.
• Contribute to mentoring, outreach and teaching as part of the research statement.
