Job summary

Cedar Point's Maintenance Division seeks a Painter to perform painting and wallpapering across Cedar Point properties, including rides and structures.

The role involves preparing surfaces, color matching, and applying coatings with brushes, rollers, or spray methods, while maintaining safety and guest service standards. A high school diploma or GED and 2–4 years of painting experience are required, along with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
• Ability to pass a background check per Company policy, unless prohibited by law.

Responsibilities

• Apply paints and stain coatings to wood, metal, plaster or other surfaces using brush, roller, or spray techniques.
• Remove old paint coatings and surface prep.
• Mix/match paint colors for accuracy.
• Paint rides and structural elements.
• Provide guest service according to Cedar Point standards.
