Sawmill Creek in Ohio is seeking a cook to maintain cleanliness and sanitation for all cookware and prepare food items for guests. This is a union position with duties across cooking, presentation, and guest service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Mandatory completion of Basic Food Safety and Sanitation Training and ServSafe Alcohol Training.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced guest-focused environment.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to pass background check and drug test as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items in accordance to company standards.
• Maintain a sanitary work area and comply with health regulations.
• Ensure quick service while upholding quality and portion control.
• Monitor safe food handling including time/temperature, sanitation, cross-contamination.
• Clean kitchen and assist with setup and organization.
• Provide guest service following Cedar Fair standards.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely.
• Other duties as assigned.
