Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a Theme Development Engineer to transform design concepts into tangible vehicle surfaces. You will lead the studio property setup, ensure data integrity, and guide Feasibility studies from FC0 to K6 while integrating multiple inputs into the A-surface.

You will oversee theme setup, develop surface scaffolds, and provide concept alternatives to balance design intent with technical constraints.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven experience in complete vehicle layout/package, including Body and Trim.
• Strong understanding of design feasibility and A-surface integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead Studio property setup and integrity across data, ride height, and manikin drop.
• Integrate A-surface with thematic inputs while preserving emotive character.
• Develop and maintain surface scaffold files for physical and digital model development.
