Job summary

The California Museum-Photography seeks a director to lead the department mainstage productions in the Winter and Spring quarters, directing in person.

The appointee will serve as lecturer for TFDP 170: Performance in Production, guiding undergraduate actors, mentoring an assistant director, and collaborating with a full production design team. Grading will be based on performances throughout rehearsal and performances.

Qualifications

• MA, MFA, Ph.D. or equivalent experience (3 years professional and/or university directing).
• Record of professional and/or university directing.

Responsibilities

• Direct department mainstage productions in Winter and Spring quarters in person.
• Appoint lecturer for TFDP 170: Performance in Production.
• Guide undergraduate actors, mentor an assistant director, and work with a production design team.
• Assign grades based on performances throughout rehearsal and performances.
