Job summary

Theatre Management Intern role at Dysart Unified School District’s Vista - Surprise location provides technical and administrative support for Vista operations. The position requires a flexible schedule, including night and weekend work.

Reporting to the Theatre Technician, you will assist with lighting, sound, and backstage tasks, manage inventory, and help with ticketing and customer service in a theater environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Senior.
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training acceptable.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (AZ IVP FPCC).

Responsibilities

• Assist Theatre Technician with lighting, sound, and backstage tasks.
• Maintain technical inventory paperwork as needed.
• Support artist hospitality on performance days and assist with technician duties.
• Help House Manager with will-call and at-the-door ticket sales in theatre lobby.
• Provide administrative support and clerical functions as required.
• Represent the Vista to the public with courteous customer service.
