Responsibilities

• Meet with the director early to discuss production overview and goals.
• Study the play and discuss interpretation with the director, playwright, and dramaturg when relevant.
• Attend pre-production design meetings and assist with auditions by taking notes.
• Attend rehearsals, take notes, and communicate progress to the director.
• Stand in for absent actors as needed and attend tech, dress rehearsals, previews.
