Job summary

The Department of Theatre Arts at the University of Oregon seeks to establish a pool of qualified candidates interested in Pro Tem Instructor positions. Depending on departmental needs and candidate qualifications, instructional assignments may include lower or upper division courses, such as the History of The Theater course series.

Positions are limited duration appointments potentially renewable for up to a total of three years, based on programmatic need, funding, and performance.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Theater Arts, Drama, or related field required.
• One (1) year post-secondary instructional experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach lower or upper division courses within Theatre Arts as assigned.
• Contribute to departmental teaching activities and student mentoring.
• Screening of applications will occur as positions become available and may continue up to three years.
